Nika, shown here completing her Canadian Championship at 1 year of age, joined our household in June of 2005 from Starbuck Torbay Beagles.and we are delighted to have her here.  She is a spirited little gal who takes life head on.  She thinks the Harriers are the greatest toys ever invented and the Harriers are eternally patient with her. She just needs one major to finish her AKC Championship. She finished her TD easily and is an outstanding tracker.  So far, she has one champion daughter, one agility titled son, and another son with a tracking title, with more titles on the way.  She's an all-around Beagle!
Nika is co-owned with Lori Bulmer, Meriadoc Beagles, in Victoria, B.C.

Niblick, completed her Canadian Championship with multiple Breed & Group wins. She is a lot like her mother, mischievous, playful, and very happy! Niblick is co-owned and lives with Lori Bulmer, Meriadoc Beagles, in Victoria, B.C.

Music, shown here winning a 4 point major, is a delightful little devil of a dog. She loves tracking and you can expect to see a TD after her name very soon.   With extremely limited showing, she has been extraordinarily successful, including Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2010 Beagle National Specialty when she was just 10 months of age.
Music is co-owned with Lori Bulmer, Meriadoc Beagles.

Darn It Beau, CGC, TT, CD, NAJ, OA

"Beau"

January 1994 - October 9, 2005

We acquired Beau from the Willamette Valley Humane Society in July of 1994. He was a 6 month old stray full of energy and charm and typical Beagle stubbornness. While Doug has had dogs before, Beau was Ellen's first, and quite the challenge for a first time owner. However, he brought such love, joy and humor into our lives, Ellen finds it hard to imagine how she lived without dogs before him. 

Through basic obedience classes, both Beau and Ellen decided that they liked obedience a lot, and began to train for competition obedience. They completed their CD (Companion Dog) on December 13, 1998 with a first place in the class.  Doug trained Beau in agility and he earned his Novice Agility Jumpers and Open Agility titles before he was retired.

We lost Beau October 9, 2005.  He is, and always will be, sorely missed and will always be in our hearts.

March 1993 - October 1, 2007

Pippi joined our household in March of 1995. We had decided that one Beagle was certainly not enough, and put our names in at the Portland Humane Society in case any Beagles came in. A week later, we got a call and went to see her. The poor thing was in awful shape, she was very thin, and covered in fleas and hotspots, and extremely timid. Through a lot of hard work, and socialization, Pippi blossomed into a happy, outgoing, little dog.  While she was never be an obedience or agility star due to an injury, she will always be a star to us and queen of the couch. 

Pippi left us October 1, 2007. Her sweet face and quirky ways will always bring a smile to our faces and warmth to our hearts.  She will be sorely missed.
